Honored for her academic leadership as a Scientia Professor at UNSW, Dr. Khorana has provided critical, research-based perspectives on multicultural Australia, consistently advocating for policies that address systemic inequities and uplift marginalized communities.

Jeff is a Senior lecturer in Journalism, Culture, and Communication at the University of Melbourne and he is being Celebrated for his incisive article, “The Politics of Social Cohesion,”. Jeff Sparrow explored how the concept is often misused to entrench systemic inequalities while erasing diverse lived experiences. His thought-provoking work challenges readers to rethink the narratives around unity and diversity in contemporary Australia.

Celebrated for her courage in holding powerful institutions accountable, Lattouf has fearlessly tackled systemic inequities in media and beyond, using her platform to amplify underrepresented voices and drive meaningful change.

Recognized for her leadership in Western Australia, Benitez founded the Multicultural Labor Organisation, creating a platform for culturally and linguistically diverse communities to advocate for their rights and representation within the political landscape.

It was her model that was being used to roll out the ALP’s (Australian Labor Party) national Multicultural Labor Organisation. Thanks to her work in WA, they have seen an increase in CARM community members running for office.
